This thing took me a week of building, changing my mind, redesigning, agonizing. Then I found the 1920's bride, threw it in Photoshop, and figured it all out. Happily, Anna loved her crown. She wore it all afternoon, and was still wearing it when she drove home with all her new kitchen loot. My prospective daughter-in-law has lovely friends, and we all had a fun time.
I did manage, during the pre-shower cleaning, baking and crown-making frenzy, to take another bookbinding class yesterday from Mitzi Lindgren. This was her intermediate long stitch class, and I made a lovely small book with a green tyvek cover. But it has been a long-party-filled day, and so photos will have to wait until tomorrow.
