When the pandemic turned into a Real Thing, theatres were just about the first venues to close. We were two weeks away from opening a play called Tribes. Now the set sits, unfinished, waiting. Live theatre is in dire straits.
Who knows what will happen? Who knows if we will have an audience when we are allowed to open? Who knows if our cast will be able to return and start back up where they left off?
So many questions, and no answers. Meanwhile, this giant set I was painting sits on stage gathering dust.
