April Means Wayzgoose!

If it's April in Tacoma, it's Wayzgoose Time. This  year Wayzgoose takes place on Sunday, April 22, 11-4,  at King's Books. Please join Puget Sound Book Artists and a wondrous gathering of talented and amazing letterpress artists for this FREE celebration. More information about Tacoma Wayzgoose and participants can be found here. The big draw, of course, is the steamroller printing.

But inside there are so many things to see and do (yes, FREE hands-on activities), plus, of course, it's Kings Books-- open for business! Buy a book! Make a day of it. There are some great places to eat lunch without having to move your car. I highly recommend Doyle's Pub (next door) and the Harmon Hub (family-friendly, on Court D, the street behind King's and Doyle's).

Wayzgoose is a great place to bring the family, because it's a hands-on celebration. But if you are kid-free, don't feel you are too grown up to stand in line and try your hand at printing. It's fun. Then, like me, you can come home, spread your treasures out on the kitchen table and feel happy.
