Long Stitch Class

My friend Mitzi Lindgren is teaching another bookbinding class at King's Books in Tacoma. Information about the January 15th class can be found here. I took one of Mitzi's classes in June, and I learned so much! She is patient and well organized. I really appreciate her logical approach to teaching. In my June 5 post, I said I would be making more books in that "sewing over tapes" method, and I actually have done that! The fact that I could take a one-day workshop, come out of it with a nearly finished product, and not only be able to finish it easily at home, but continue to expand on that technique is proof that taking a class from Mitzi is money well spent.

The class next week is from 11 to 3, and costs $45, plus a $10 materials fee. If you can't make that class on such short notice, she is offering the same class again in February. This is a great opportunity to take a class from someone so talented. I'll see you there!
