I made this for a show that was to open in June at University of Puget Sound. The show has now been postponed until sometime in the fall. Hand-painted, printed, collaged and gold-leafed signatures are all sewn individually. Book is "sewn over tapes" binding.
Now I have to come up with an artist statement. Somehow I do not think "I was desperate. This was all I could come up with." is what the exhibit committee wants to hear.
